Have your say – shape the future

Have you ever had a child live with you and who you cared for, for any reason, that was a relative or a child of a friend?

If so, you may have been a Kinship Carer and we’d love to hear from you!

We would like to invite you to take part in a discussion about kinship care. Fife is committed to #KeepThePromise and we are working in partnership with The Promise Scotland and Embrace – Caring in Fife to fully understand the needs of the Kinship Community in Fife, to make significant changes for the better, where they are needed, based on what you tell us.

What will this involve?

An informal conversation about your personal experience, what worked for you and the things that could be better.

Group discussions or individual sessions are being held in July 2022. If you are interested in being part of this exciting initiative, please contact us for further information or a chat using the contact details below.

We'd like to hear from you

This journey is only beginning and we would like you to be part of it.

To build  the best community, we need to share our experiences. Everybody should have a say and everyone will be listened to.

Whether you have a story you feel would help someone else in the care-experience community, if you have a view on how Caring in Fife could improve, or if you'd like to be directly involved we want to hear from you.

This community will be better by including you.
